Terms of Service

1. What Reveille Brief is

Reveille Brief is an independent, educational briefing about the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) funds: daily share prices, what moved the markets, and general context. It is not investment advice. Please read our Disclaimer, which is part of these terms.

We are not affiliated with the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, the Thrift Savings Plan, or the U.S. government, and we will never ask for your TSP login.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. [ATTORNEY: confirm any geographic limits.]

3. Your account

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to your email account secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at support@reveillebrief.com if you think someone else has used it.

4. Free and paid plans

  • Free: daily share prices, the day's headline and market summary, and a TSP 101 tip.
  • Paid ("Full briefing"): everything in Free, plus per-fund explanations, notable movers, what to watch, and the full archive. Current prices are shown on our website and at checkout.

We may change what each plan includes. We'll tell paid subscribers in advance about changes that materially reduce what they receive.

5. Billing, renewal and cancellation

  • Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record (the seller of record) for paid subscriptions. Stripe's terms also apply to your purchase, and your card statement may show Stripe or its partners.
  • Sales tax or similar taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. We'll give you notice before any price increase takes effect.
  • Cancel anytime from your Account page ("Manage or cancel"). You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for; we don't provide partial refunds for unused time, except as required by law or as Stripe provides. [ATTORNEY/OWNER: confirm refund policy.]

6. Acceptable use

The Service is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don't:

  • copy, resell, republish, or redistribute paid briefings (sharing an occasional briefing with a friend is fine; forwarding them to a mailing list or posting them publicly isn't);
  • scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Service;
  • interfere with the Service's security or operation, or use it to break any law.

7. Our content

We own the briefings, website, logo and other content we create, and grant you a limited, personal, revocable license to read them. Links to third-party news and sources are for your convenience; we don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them. Share-price data is published by the TSP and remains subject to its terms.

8. Accuracy

We work hard to be accurate, but briefings are researched and drafted with the help of artificial intelligence and reviewed by a person, and they may contain errors, omissions or delays. The official figures on tsp.gov always take precedence.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, [BUSINESS LEGAL NAME] WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
